Each GDSN access provider has their own set of rules.  Some will accept 832
EDI, others use XML and I think from my prior experience, one of them uses a
proprietary file format.

You need to decide who you are going to work iwth or in some cases, who you are
required to work with and get their specs...  Some of the industries and at
least some of the retailers already have deals with specific access providers
and you are required to have an agreement with that specific provider,
regardless if you have a current account with another provider or not.

Just be aware, this is another not cheap endeavor, and in some cases, worse
than using 3rd party testing services because the charges are ongoing...

Alan

Sounds like BS to me. What if you want to enter a few thousand UPCs?

Check with the other Data Pools.
I've sent 832 data to GXS and QRS (Inovis) in the past.
