Micahel Josiah, I, for one, want it clearly understood I was mocking Michael Mattias, not you, and, actually not even MCM, my dear and respected colleague, more the Mall of America and Elvis. I have two very serious suggestions which you may or may not have followed:
1. RTFM 2. Contact MS BizTalk support and ask them, that's what you're paying for It's entirely likely that something is amiss in your set up and we're never going to figure that out for you. For example, I once "solved" a similar issue in a much different translator by noticing a teeny-tiny-itsy-bitsy space where it didn't belong, thus rendering it impossible for the translator, being only a stupid piece of code and not a person, to recognize the sender of the data. Three other people had spent several hours debugging what "seemed" just like any other and "looked" good. None of those three people was stupid or new to the job, some times you just have to have someone else LOOK at the problem. But I must admit I was a little disappointed with my last plea for assistance (which I am still trying to figure out). I stated I was having issues getting BziLink to Reconcile 997's. A few persons took a stab at what I might try. All the rest (below), thought it would be a good idea to mock and make fun of someone's effort to help someone out. Perhaps this is why people don't use the List as much. Fear of being belittled. What is interesting not one of the "mockers" offered any insight as to how I might remedy my problem. Instead we had to read about "Elvis" (yes, I do pay attention to the posts, but that is not what I had asked). I hesitate to post this (let the mocking begin), but I feel someone needs to stand up, or this once valuable tool will fall by the wayside. EDI List Mockers 1a. We have over 60 TP's setup using Bizlink (use Mapper to translate flat files from JDE into Bizlink). We have several TP's where we send a document and receive back a 997 w/o any issues. However there are several where teh 997's will not reconcile. I have compared two of the TP profiles where the 997's are failing, to three TP profiles where everything is working, and they are virtually identical. The only difference was on one of the TP that was failing is that it had a "3 day" Timeout duration, where the ones that worked all had 24 hours. However, I don't believe that is causing the error since one of the TP's that is failing also has a 24 hour Timeout duration. This makes no rhyme or reason. Can anyone on the List give any insight as to why this is happening?
