I need some spec software. Usually we're the vendor and we take what specs
we're given but lately we've been dealing with 3PL's and customers who can't
write their own specs and I find myself in need of something.
I used edifecs way back in the late 90's which was lovely but when I just
looked it seems like its a whole lot more than what I really need. I'm
doing wholesale distribution, not health care. I just need to choose a
transaction, pick my segments and elements, build my code lists and type
some usage notes. I don't need the software to do the thinking for me, just
the formatting and the typing.
Does anyone have a recommendation?
