Is there any way to manipulate the UNB control number? A new customer requires
that we append a zero to the control number in the UNB segment.
Eg: if the sequential control number goes XXX0001, XXX0002, XXX0003, they want
it to be sent as XXX00010, XXX00020, XXX00030.
Either a zero has to be appended or the sequence of the control number has to
be incremented by 10. But I am not sure how to do this. Can anyone help please!!
