Kao Brands is currently seeking an EDI Programmer/Analyst in our Cincinnati
office!
Job Description:
· Work with internal & external customers, business analysts, and other IT
staff to define and deliver innovative enterprise class business solutions for
the Kao Americas/EMEA SAP EDI system.
· Provide excellent customer service in EDI implementations and work within
established Service Level Agreements to resolve issues related to: SAP IDoc,
iSeries, Gentran, IFS, AS2, & VAN.
· Coordinate, configure, and test communication protocols between EDI trading
partners.
· Perform daily monitoring of all EDI processes including SAP IDocs and system
job logs.
· Coordinate and perform EDI integration testing for IT system upgrades.
· Develop functional & technical specifications for SAP ABAP, iSeries CL & RPG,
test plans, and any other required documentation. Execute and document all work
using standard methodology.
· Actively pursue strong customer relationships. Become a trusted partner to
your customer.
· Maintain a working knowledge of advancing technologies and freely exchange
new ideas and suggestions for improvement in the EDI industry. Pursue
continuous improvement in data quality, application features, and performance.
· Willingness to be "on call" and provide support outside normal business
hours.
Job Requirements:
· University Bachelors Degree.·
Strong problem solving and analytical skills that is self motivated and an
independent worker.
· Basic to moderate level understanding of a major business function. This

· General functional knowledge as well as the supporting transactional systems,
reporting, statutory, legal, and audit requirements.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Three plus years of
experience in EDI within the following areas:
1. EDI Standards: X.12, EDIFACT and TRADACOMS
2. EDI Transactions such as: 856, 810, 850, 875, 880, 855, 824, 211, 214, 860,
864, 820, 180, and more
3. EDI Versions: 3010 to 5030, D96A, D96B, and more
4. Mapping transactions using Gentran software for the iSeries
5. Development of iSeries CL & RPG programs
6. SAP IDoc structures and integration with EDI documents and processes
7. AS/2 communications setup utilizing 3rd party software
