(www.tiecommerce.com) For my AS2 solution, I use Cleo's LexiCom for AS2 (www.cleo.com) and have no problems. For my van I've used IDX/Sterling from its inception and only had 1 problem, and that wasn't their fault. They used to be run by Activant, but that company got purchased by Epicor. The bonus of this package is that Epicor has experts extrememly familiar with eVision and Cleo. You can get on the phone help or email your map and data to them and they will help you quickly. Dan Mehlhorn Systems Programmer/EDI Administrator Crescent Electric Supply Co. (563) 589-1344 ----- Original Message ----- From: Jason McMahon I am starting a position whereby I will install and implement equipment and EDI software for a company whose customers are demanding that they become EDI compliant. I have used Sterling Commerce for years, but I would like to learn about other tried and true alternatives so I can present them as well. (If you would include their websites that would be helpful.) For AS2 and SFTP, I have used BizLink and Cyclone in the past. What else might I consider? And if a van is required what would you recommend? I have used Sterling's. The company anticipates putting some 50 customers on EDI, including government agencies (such as schools), over the next 6 - 9 months and eliminating as much manual order entry as is possible.
