The fact that THIS discussion about a chat on another site has caused the forum 
to become a "defacto chat" has me "tuning out".

Please leave the Chats and Twits to those with ADHD and I'll stay here for 
(mostly) pertinent questions and (mostly) pertinent responses (Fridays excepted 
;).

The only "chat" I want to deal with is a purring fuzz ball curled up on the 
couch.

Although I have not seen any statistics recently I think EDI-L has of 
order 2000 participants. Responses to queries do not typically number 
more than a few. For real-time chat style assistance to work you are 
going to need a large number of participants online at any time. I wish 
you luck but I have to say I think this unlikely.
