He's the customer. Its the vendor that wants him to pull a rabbit out of his hat. Speaking with years experience being the vendor I'd tell Thorsten not to loose any sleep over it. Tell them how your ERP needs it. You are the customer and having a single PO on an invoice is as normal and customary as it gets.
