Hi Paul,

As a solution provider, all I can say is that "MS certification" costs a lot
of money. Obviously the end customer pays for it and a "MS Certified AX
Integration" solution is usually much more expensive.

My personal opinion is that a MS Certified solutions does not really offer
any additional value advantage other than the fact that it has been tested
for some simple use cases and the company has paid the right amount of fees
to Microsoft ( this obviously will be disputed by the folks who have spent
the money to get certified and MS). This is also true of all the other
certified solutions out there for Quickbooks, ACCPAC, Dynamics-NAV,
Dynamics-GP, SAP-B1, Netsuite and others.

Ryan's option to go with Biztalk will work as well if you want to do it
yourself. A lot of the SAAS providers out there do provide connections into
Dynamics AX - some are certified and some are not.

My 2 cents.

Sincerely,

Subject: [EDI-L] Certified EDI Solutions for MS Dynamics AX?

Please - I'm begging you - no Sales pitches.

Doing a preliminary search for any tried and true MS certified EDI solutions
for AX?

Any experiences in getting EDI up on AX good or bad?

Does AX have any out-of-the-box interfaces (I-docs if you will) for typical
supplier EDI (850, 860, 810, 856, 832, 852)?

Thanks for your help.

Paul
