Unless your partner has a magic translator (<grin>) then this flag has very
little meaning.
And you need to send whatever your partner asks you to send.  Especially if
it's a large
national chain that can fine you beyond the cost of the merchandise in the box.

But yes, 0001 and 0004 are fairly much the same.

Subject: [EDI-L] <tech><usage> BSN05 value in ANSI X12

We want to use the pick and pack structure ASN.

We will be shipping with the following format- SOTPI ( Shipment,
Order, Tare(if used), Pack, Item)

So the 'bible' says I 'could' use a '0001' but that does not explicitly state
the 'T' or Tare (pallet) level....  This has me concerned.  If 0001 is valid
even unlisted, would 0004 also work?

I wanted to bang this off you all as I know if there is a forum where I COULD
find an answer it would be here . . . .   So..  Art, Michael, Ken or Leah?
Thoughts?

A happy CHEERS from Colorado!

Will
