The EDI Analyst III would be responsible for communicating with trading partners, testing and implementing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) documents using knowledge of standards and business systems, conducting tests and enabling trading partners to send and receive EDI documents, processing failed documents, troubleshooting problems including communication, failures and issues and working with trading partners to resolve EDI issues. Responsibilities: Manage daily processing of strategic accounts to achieve customer compliance and satisfaction, business financial objectives, and efficient internal business operation - Manage (and conduct as required) the daily processing of EDI transactional activity between company systems and trading partners. - Investigate, troubleshoot, escalate and facilitate resolution of day-to-day issues, and communicate with internal and external customers to minimize/eliminate business impacts - Efficient and timely processing of incoming and outgoing EDI messages including customer/supplier connections. Manage (and conduct as required) the correction and retranslation of EDI documents that fail during translation Sustain and improve EDI Methodology, resulting in the reduction in operational costs to the business, increased customer compliance and satisfaction, and supporting the continuous improvement initiatives of the IT function and overall business. - Establish, and maintain EDI procedures: including management of document repository, identification of errors and corrective action, reconciliation of EDI transactions through coordination of information with system exceptions messaging, and internal/external customers. - Maintain a catalog of retailer vendor guides, including routing, shipping compliance and product development guides. Sustain EDI systems current with all trading partner and product data required to correctly process transactions in accordance with system and customer compliance requirements - Conduct regular audits of EDI transactions to determine accuracy and champion future improvement opportunities. - Monitor and administer the EDI system/application including creating new connections and internal reporting. - Setup and maintain adequate environments for the testing and promotion to production of trading partner and platform implementations. Implement new transaction sets and customers, leveraging EDI to increase revenue with high-potential customers, lower cost business execution for both customers and company, and accelerate business-to-business transactions with customers. - Lead and/or work in a managed project/team framework with external customers, customer partners, service providers, and cross-departmental staff to engage, design, build, test, and deploy EDI processing capabilities for existing and new customers. - Setup and maintain test data, conduct unit testing and create/maintain documentation for all EDI system and trading partner implementations.
