As an extension of this, a trading partner of one of my clients is bothering him about 3 CONTRL messages which were not over received three weeks ago. The messages were generated, sent and received so the problem is at the TP's end, but that is irrelevant. Why are they still fussing about a message which is supposed to be an immediate response to indicate receipt and translation status when the business response has been sent and received and the goods have been delivered long ago? Bureaucracy has its own momentum. Perhaps MCM would see it as an example of poor ERP/EDI communication. Sandy is front-page news here in the UK. Much sympathy to all afflicted by it.
