ASSOCIATE PARTNER - RETAIL E-COMMERCE STRATEGY Location: can be based out of any major US City REQUIREMENTS: * Previous experience working for a consulting firm * 3+ years of experience working for a major Retail merchandising company at some point in their career - as an executive (VP of Ecommerce, level - will consider Director at Major Global Retailers) * 5+ years of experience focused on eCommerce, Marketing & Merchandising * Experience driving sales of e-commerce, multi-channel retailing, and cross technology , process and strategic transformation / change initiatives. * Must have Subject Matter Expertise in Retail E-commerce * Experience developing Retail e-commerce Strategy * Experience turning around struggling e-commerce projects for customers * Ability to travel up to 3-4 days / week to customer sites and be able to travel internationally as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES: The selected candidate will be responsible for being a Retail E-commerce Subject Matter Expert. This person will be have a significant background working for major management consulting firms in the Retail space AND working for or with one of the Top 200 international etailers. This person will be responsible for working cross functionally to close large scale retail e-commerce engagements with key customers in the Retail industry world wide. S/he will be responsible for developing e-commerce strategy, and help major retailers transform and improve struggling e-commerce strategies with strong turn around experience. As an Associate Partner within the Retail E-commerce sector this Subject Matter Expert must be an industry leader coming directly from a major retail in an executive role, OR from a major management consulting firm who has been responsible for selling e-commerce strategy engagements into the retail industry. Strategic engagements that will be sold include e-commerce engagements, ecommerce strategy, retail multi-channel marketing, order management, e-commerce technology, ecommerce process and strategic change and /or transformation engagements. This person will be assisting the Sales teams and the delivery teams as a Retail E-commerce SME in closing and defining engagements. S/he must have strong relationship management experience at the C-level.
