An EFI image is a PE/COFF executable. What do you mean by OS image? Executable
formats vary by OS, ELFMach-O/PE/COFF, and I don't see the point of mixing
executable formats?
Maybe you mean making bootable media?
Removable media, you just copy the file:
\EFI\BOOT\BOOTx64.EFI
\EFI\BOOT\BOOTARM.EFI
CD/DVD used ISO-9660/El Torito and you can use CD/DVD disk imaging tools to do
this.
Non removable media the OS loader is installed in an OS specific location, and
an EFI Variable is written to point to the OS loader by the OS installer.
So are you trying to create a bootable CD/DVD image?
Thanks,
Andrew
