Hello! I have trouble booting DuetPkg on some configurations. I need advice on fixing/troubleshooting. Details follow.
1. Checked out today's trunk/edk2, 2. edited Conf\target.txt to use "IA32 X64" arch and DDK3790 toolchain, 2. built DuetPkg{IA32,X64}.dsc, ran PostBuild.bat {IA32,X64}, 3. eventually created two bootable FAT32 usb sticks: with IA32 DuetPkg and with X64 DuetPkg. The results on two different BIOS PCs are: PC #1 (64-bit AMD CPU, 4 GB of RAM, no HDDs) IA32: halts on "*** INT 6Fh Unknown interrupt - HALT!! ***" X64: hangs on "WELCOME TO EFI WORLD!" screen PC #2 (64-bit Intel CPU, 16 GB of RAM) without HDDs both IA32 and X64 sticks work perfectly: show splash screen, then take me to EFI shell with HDDs (AHCI or IDE mode) both sticks hang on that darn "WELCOME TO EFI WORLD!" screen ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ October Webinars: Code for Performance Free Intel webinars can help you accelerate application performance.
