Hello to the list, I am new to this mailing list, and I would like to ask some questions about QUARK EDK2 Open Source code, regarding LAPIC (Local APIC) and IOAPIC (IO -general APIC).
As I have learned, when writing the internal to the CPU INT timer, I can do it two ways (maybe more than two, but two major). The important data here is that the LAPIC timer interrupts do not cause huge spikes in PCIe latency, which is expected because the LAPIC is not sending EOIs to the IOAPIC. But I would like somehow to generate IOAPIC timer interrupt, so EOI should be generated somehow to IOAPIC. This is very important condition (to be fulfilled) for me! In this (what I am writing here) lieu, I would like somebody to point me in the Open Source EDK2 QUARK package the source code (directory path, file and function) for both QUARK LAPIC and QUARK IOAPIC?
