Mike Tonkovich asks about sample size calculations. Part of his message
reads:

>In this survey that I plan on running, I'm going to ask 40 questions. Am I
to
>do this for every variable and take the maximum sample size needed to
>achieve the desired level of confidence or what?

Are all forty questions equally important? I hope not. Pick the top two or
three most important survey questions and make sure the sample size is
adequate for those. Certainly no more than 5. Life is too short to do 40
sample size calculations for a single study.
