Position Title: Full-time Biostatistician I/II or Statistical Programmer Analyst, Tufts University School of Medicine Available immediately Required / Preferred Education, Experience, Skills: Master's degree in computer science, statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, mathematics, or applied mathematics or bachelor's in the same plus equivalent work experience. Experience using SAS for sophisticated statistical analyses as well as database management experience. Ability to work well under pressure. Willingness to clearly document work. Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for the organization, maintenance and management of data used in a large longitudinal study of nutrition and HIV infection among men and women in the greater Boston area. Individual works with statistician, Dr. Donna Spiegelman, Project Director, and investigators to check, compile, manage and document data. Responsible for planning the programming strategy for the analysis of data in conjunction with investigators using SAS and other statistical packages. Responsible for the programming needed for the data analysis and implementation of the statistical methods required for the timely completion of this project. Position available immediately.
