Dear Colleagues: Please post and circulate this position announcement: STATISTICAL PROGRAMMER/ANALYST or Junior Mathematical Statistician NEEDED Statistical programmer/analyst or Junior Mathematical Statistician sought to assist in the development of new statistical methods to adjust for measurement error bias in environmental epidemiology. Duties include implementing and testing new algorithms in FORTRAN; verifying mathematical results; debugging, running and summarizing analyses and graphing data using standard statistical software and graphics packages. Required: Master's degree in math, applied math, statistics, biostatistics, or a related quantitative field; experience programming in FORTRAN and UNIX systems. Experience in biomedical research environment, with IMSL, SAS, Splus, Maple and graphics software; course work in numerical analysis, mathematical statistics, multivariate calculus and linear algebra are desired. This full-time position is available immediately.
