Rahat,
With regard to your problem with correlations:
> Satisfaction with system reports is correlated with usage:
r= -0.02, n=50
> Satisfaction correlated with system performance, r= 0.29, n=100,
and
> Satisfaction with systems access correlates with usage, r= 0.03, n=60
> Could I calculate average for 3 r given above i.e. r = 0.10 and
> average for 3 sample sizes i.e. 70 and say that satisfaction is
> correlated with usage r=0.10 for N=70.
No! Besides the fact that you can't average the zero-order calculations
directly, the three measures are measuring different
things: system reports, system performance, and system access. If you
average the three "satisfaction" measures and then correlate the resulting
composite with "usage" you obscure rather than clarify the information.
N'est ce pas?
