with dean lapp's help at minitab and jon cryer's help at u of iowa ... here 
is some output from using mesh in minitab to GENERATE bivariate normal data 
and wireframe to PLOT the data ...

the first 3 jpg files are these ... when rho = .3, when rho = .7, and when 
rho = .99 (could not get it to run for rho = 1 ... out of bound values in 
the calculation algorithms)

the one when rho = .99 is a bit jagged but, part of this is because if you 
make many more plotting points ... then plot the data .... while the graph 
looks smoother, it is more difficult to save the graph ...

what i did was a compromise
