An effect size can be expressed in terms of the coefficients of the
underlying regression model for the experimental design being used. The
standard errors for an effect can therefore be obtained from the standard
errors of the coefficients.

You need to be careful about the relationship between the coefficients and
the effect as it depends on the coding scheme used to define the dummy
variables (e.g. reference cell (0,1) or "effects" (-1,01)).
