There is no way to temporarily suspend mail from edstat -- just unsubscribe now
and resubscribe later. The web page http://jse.stat.ncsu.edu/ gives
instructions for subscribing to and unsubscribing from edstat. Click on
"Instructions" for e-mail instructions. The MAJORCOOL link on the instructions
page (the blue mailbox in the upper right corner) takes you to a web interface
for subscribing and unsubscribing.

If you have difficulty with these instructions, it is probably because you
subscribed to edstat using a different e-mail address than the one you
currently use. Please try variations on your e-mail address to see if you can
figure out what address you used. If that proves impossible, write to me (NOT
THE LIST!), and I will try to figure it out for you.
