The worst situation is that in which all 50 are different.
In that case, if there is a match, the match is equally 
likely to come at each trial.  To answer the question with
certainty, it will be necessary to test all of the objects
in the box.

Other distributions of objects make it easier.  If one knows
that there are only two kinds of objects there, to be certain
would require testing objects until two different types occur.

Other scenarios, and making probability statements, will
require other assumptions.
