Excel 97 has an add-in for doing regression and certain other statistical
analyses. Select "Extra"->"Add-ins", and check both buttons for the
"Analysis TookPak" (I'm translating from a Dutch version, "Extra" may be
"Tools" or something similar). This will add a "Data Analysis" item to
the bottom of your "Extra" menu that allows elementary statistical
analyses. It's limited to bivariate regression though.
