The web site http://jse.stat.ncsu.edu/ contains the archives of the edstat list
since its beginning in 1991.  This archive should continue to be available
indefinitely.

At this same site, you will find instructions for subscribing to, and
unsubscribing from, the edstat list. Click on the "Major Cool" icon on the
"Instructions" page (the blue mailbox) for a web interface for managing your
subscription.

Note that the edstat web address appears in the footer at the bottom of every
message to the edstat list.
