I get a lot of comments that I should write a book based on some of the material on my web site. I'm not sure my material is all that good, but it is nice to hear the compliment. But I was just thinking that there might be some opportunities to explore this option at the Joint Statistical Meetings. Before I go, I thought I'd ask on this list, as I suspect there are several of you who have written Statistics books. Would you mind answering a few questions? 1. How did you get started writing your first book? 2. What did you like most about writing a book? 3. What did you like least? 4. Did you get adequate financial and/or non-financial rewards? 5. Would you do it again? Steve Simon, [EMAIL PROTECTED], Standard Disclaimer.
