Possibly by "test of significance" you mean a test of the
null hypothesis that polyserial r = 0.. In that sense, no, PRELIS 2
doesn't test this as far as I can see. However, PRELIS 1 did provide
this test. So: (1) that means such a test does exist, and (2) if you
can find a copy of the PRELIS 1 manual, there might be a reference.
Another possiblity would be to contact customer service at Scientific
Software International.
