I would like to find the autocorrelation function for the Pulse time
modulation function. PTM is a pulse time modulated signal from the
pulse times of phase. The phase must be between 0 and 1, specifying the
left edge of each pulse in fractions of a period. Duty cycle is a scalar
between 0 and 1 that specifies the length of each pulse in fractions of
a period.
The function is defined as 'ptm' in matlab.
I have been able to find the autocorrelation function for a PTM of zero
phase and .5 dutycycle, but I am looking for something a little more
general.
To find the autocorrelation function, I understand that I need three
different regions, thus three different integrals, but I am unsure on
how to specify the limits of integration or the max and min values of
the function.
