There is a version of STATISTICA (www.statsoft.com) for the Mac that has a
canonical analysis module in it; it is very easy to use, and I guess that there
are some reasonable price discounts offered to faculty and students.
An excellent overview of that method is included in their Electronic Statistics
Textbook (also available from the StatSoft web site)
