I was suprised to learn last month while in Orlando that the optically
scanned ballots that are tabulated at the precincts will return the
ballot sheet to the voter (during the voting process) if 1) the voter
neglects to vote for an office (an undervote) or votes for too many
candidates for the same office (an overvote). The voter is given the
opportunity to correct his error (or not) before leaving the voting
area. (according to the Orland Sentinel 11/15/00)
