bob hayden at plymouth state college has been "collecting" emails over some
period of time that have some bearing, either real or imagined, on
statistical (perhaps methodological more broadly defined) issues that we
might glean from the recent election results in florida. i suggested to bob
that if he sent them to me, i would copy them to a webpage and ... that i
have done
at .... http://roberts.ed.psu.edu/users/droberts/flaelection.htm
now, BEWARE ... this is a huge file and, i took the path of least
resistance to accomplish this ... i merely imported the long email text
file that bob sent me and, inserted <pre> </pre> formatting tags ... and
there you have it ...
i intend to try to cut this up into sections and, put them as links on one
page ... but this will have to wait 'till i have time
THE GOAL OF ALL OF THIS IS TO SEE IF WE CAN SIFT SOME METHODOLOGICAL ISSUES
(primarily statistical) THAT ARE WORTHY OF CATALOGING AND DISCUSSION (for
students and others)
any suggestions, please let me know ...
NOTE: i have NOT examined the contents of this document so ... let the link
follower beware!
