My first two sugestions are:
1.) Don't post binary files to a non-binary newsgroup; it is a violation
of both netiquette and of the charter of most newsgroups. Put your document
in webspace and post its URL instead.
2.) Don't use a proprietary document-format that many readers will not be
able to read; convert your document to PostScript, or if you do not have
that option, PDF (both of which are still proprietary, but at least have
freely downloadable document-viewers).
