At the risk of inciting riot, in Excel:

=NORMSINV(arg)

where arg is the area under the Normal curve from - infinity to z, and z is the 
result.  to go
from z to the area, use:

=NORMSDIST(z)

where z is the Normal deviate (so called!), and the result is the area under the 
curve, from -
infinity to z.

rest assured, I am aware that these are _not_ the equations for calculating what you 
asked for.
but they will put the tables onto a spread sheet or into a function, if that is what 
you need.
