Hello.

I'm writing to you from Salford Systems, the developer of the CART decision
tree and MARS regression analysis software. CART and MARS were developed
by senior researchers at UC Berkeley and Stanford University, and have
roots in biostatistics, artificial intelligence and machine learning. I'd
like to introduce you to our software and invite you to evaluate our
products in your analytical work. Our software is easy, fast, and capable
of handling very large data sets. In addition, it provides superb insights
into data structure and works well in a large number of database
environments (we read and write 85 different file formats and coexist with
major database and statistical analysis systems).

This email contains information for downloading and activating our data
mining products, CART and MARS. Please contact us at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] with any question you may have.

Here are the URL links and the two Passwords you can use with your own data
for 30 days:

They are both Fully Functional versions of CART 4.0 PRO and MARS 2.0.

CART 4.0 PRO
IMPORTANT: 30-DAY EVALUATION PASSWORD: C4020-6344-7425-EV1
http://www.salford-systems.com/evals/cartreg.html (9 & 22.5 Million Data
Cell Capacity).

MARS 2.0
IMPORTANT: 30-DAY EVALUATION PASSWORD: M200-19-2433-6339-EV1
http://www.salford-systems.com/evals/marsreg.html (2 & 4.8 Million Data
Cell Capacity).

Please Note:
You will be given a choice of 2 different sizes for these programs.
Depending on which size you choose, you will need at least 64mb or 128mb of
available RAM.

Also, here is a web link to a Quick 10-minute walk through of the CART and
MARS products. This link shows excellent detail of real life data, and the
intelligent default settings utilized by both of these modeling packages:

If you have a slow or problematic Internet connection, I would highly
recommend the following Free Download Accelerator which will speed up the
download, and most importantly, will recover from any line drops
automatically:
http://www.downloadaccelerator.com/

Once you have installed Download Accelerator, run the program, and click on
one of the URL's above to initiate the download.

New features to CART Version 4.0 Pro include:

Report Generator: Generate a complete report for any analysis including
vital statistics, such as target variable, eligible predictors, tree
diagram, gains and lift charts, variable importance rankings, all in a
preformatted RTF (RichTextFormat) document.

Variable Penalties: Penalize specific variables to reflect the cost of
their acquisition, or to restrain their use unless sufficiently important.

Automatic missing value indicators: A dummy variable indicating which
records have missing values for a predictor can optionally be added to the
list of eligible predictors.

Fat file handling: Easily work with up to 8,000 predictors and still get
fast results.

CART is fast! Process a 30,000 record and 100 variable database in under
one minute on a 400 mhz Pentium. Process a 200,000 record Web mining
database with 200 predictors (many of which are several hundred level
categoricals) in under 30 minutes. (See ReadMe file for full details).

Again, should you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
