This Nigerian scam has taken several forms over the months.  

I was informed that the U.S. Secret Service would like copies of such
e-mails sent to them, at [EMAIL PROTECTED] .

I have done that several times, though I don't know whether it does any
good.

The edstat list is not moderated.  I don't have time to screen each
message before it is sent to the list, and I don't want to be tied to
the list in the evening and on the weekends.

Despite that, rest assured that I am saving you from quite a lot of
junk
mail, because messages with attachments or html formatting ARE sent to
me for approval before going to the list.  Every day, I reject at
least
a half dozen messages that are off-topic or offensive.
