Dear Rich: Thanks once again for the reply. I do agree with you that financial modelling is lot of mess, but that is more due to the nature of data. I am trying to improve upon what authors of a recent paper published in Journal of Finance have done. Please take a look at the model on page 995 in the following link. It will be a great favour if you may comment a little on the model of the authors, in comparision to what I am trying to do.
