Hello... Supposed that for a time-variant scenario, I could obtain the number of births (e.g. customers arrivals), the number deaths (e.g. customers departure) as well as the number of customers at each time instant t1, t2, t3,...,tN in which t2-t1=t3-t2=tN-t(N-1). I wonder, how can I derive the parameters such as the birth rate, death rate & transition probabilities matrix from the above information?
