I was wondering if I can use any variant of Student's t test for this analysis. I'm performing an experiment in which 200 ants in a single enclosure are presented with multiple food items. 3 of the food items have a lot of ants feeding on them, while the rest have minimal ants. How would I go about determining if there is any significant difference in the number of ants going for each of the 3 most popular items? Thanks.
