Hello, I've a Masters in Transportation. Though I had interest in Stats, I never had the opportunity to fully explore the field during my Masters due to my commitments in the field of Transportation at the university. I took up a job in Transportation immediately after completing my Masters. Now-a-days I find the re-born interest in the area and would like to pursue a Masters in Stats. I would like to know how wise my decision is, taking in consideration the opporunity costs (giving up my present job and pursuing the Masters). I would also like to know how tough it is to pursue Masters in Stats for a student with limited exposure to the field.
Any advice/input on this matter is greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot! br . . ================================================================= Instructions for joining and leaving this list, remarks about the problem of INAPPROPRIATE MESSAGES, and archives are available at: . http://jse.stat.ncsu.edu/ . =================================================================
