I have used JMP for many years and am extremely pleased with it.  It is very
graphical and you don't have to write any code.  In additional to the usual
stuff, it uses Derringer's approach to multiple criteria optimization.
(That's when you have several conflicting objectives and want to find a
"good compromise".)   I have heard of  Statistica, but I am not familiar
with it.

What sorts of analyses do you guys plan to do?  There are always trade-off
between simplicity, expense, and completeness.
