In empirical situations, holding all these assumptions strictly will make the situation worse. However, i made this essay for, say, academic purposes, to let students know regression is not as innocent as it seems to be when we apply this theory in practical fields; to give a birds eye-view of the whole theory before explaining the remedial measures of each violation(if exists). > What kind of project? Sorry for my unclear request. I meant how I might demonstrate the violation of each assumption by using any software with examples. . . ================================================================= Instructions for joining and leaving this list, remarks about the problem of INAPPROPRIATE MESSAGES, and archives are available at: . http://jse.stat.ncsu.edu/ . =================================================================
