I am hoping that someone can help me with a question I have. I am using regression equations to predict a trait level score required for a particular job.
I have the actual trait level (mean level) for the position. I am using 2 different sets of predictors, and am trying to determine if their level of prediction is significantly different from each other. I do not have the population stats that would be required for a CI. Besides simply looking at the R-squared, does anyone know of a procedure for determining whether one prediction equation is significantly better than another? Thanks for your time Ginger J. . . ================================================================= Instructions for joining and leaving this list, remarks about the problem of INAPPROPRIATE MESSAGES, and archives are available at: . http://jse.stat.ncsu.edu/ . =================================================================
