I am hoping that someone can help me with a question I have. I am
using regression equations to predict a trait level score required for
a particular job.

I have the actual trait level (mean level) for the position.

I am using 2 different sets of predictors, and am trying to determine
if their level of prediction is significantly different from each
other. I do not have the population stats that would be required for a
CI.

Besides simply looking at the R-squared, does anyone know of a
procedure for determining whether one prediction equation is
significantly better than another?

Thanks for your time

Ginger J.
