As Joe has somewhat more gently pointed out, "interactions between the DV and covariates" do not make a whole lot of sense. Interactions would be defined among the several covariates, and between the ANOVA factor(s) and the covariates, in their (possible) effects on the response variable (which I presume you mean by "DV").
What, precisely, did you have in mind? It really doesn't compute (so to speak) to construct "interactions" between covariates and the response variable: for one thing, you are then using the response variable to predict (or "explain") the response variable, which invokes a certain logical circularity. (And that's partly why SPSS won't let you do it in an ordinary ANCOVA.) (I trust you've been modelling interactions among the covariates, and between the covariates and the factor(s), already?)
