Description
04-4071 Research Scientist Pediatrics Medical School The incumbent plan,
supervise, and perform management and analysis of large, longitudinal data
sets. Develop and supervise statistical programming and write statistical
reports on multiple projects. Design experimental procedures in
collaboration with faculty. The incumbent attend weekly research meeting and
participate in the development of manuscripts for publication. Collaborate
with researchers from varied fields (psychologists, physicians, nurses,
statisticians, teachers, and public health faculty) on problems of child
health and development. Evaluate the data from analyses. Supervise and
assist in the preparation of graphs and charts for presentation of
statistical data. Prioritize data entry projects for data entry clerks.
Other duties as assigned. Required - Doctoral degree in Statistics,
Biostatistics, Applied Statistics or a related field. One year of experience
in a research environment with verifiable publications within the field of
research. The successful applicant will be able to work independently as
well as collaborate with other research scientists. It is essential that the
incumbent has experience with SAS and Microsoft ACCESS. Must be comfortable
working on Windows platform. Interest in measurement and/or longitudinal
data analysis is also desirable. Salary Range: Min $41,928 - Mid $52,416 -
Max $62,568/annually
