Hello to everyone, I would ask you which is the more appropriate statistical analysis to deal with the following situation.
Assuming Y and X1,...Xn all ordinal qualitative variables wich is the right statistical analysis to study the influence of X1,...Xn on Y? Y: independent variable X1,...Xn: dependent variables Example: Y= overall rating for a product (Excellent, Very good, Good, Poor) X1= rating for a first particular characteristic of the product (Excellent, Very good, Good, Poor) X1= rating for a second particular characteristic of the product (Excellent, Very good, Good, Poor) X1= rating for a third particular characteristic of the product (Excellent, Very good, Good, Poor) In this example I'd like to calculate the influence of the 3 characteristics on the overall rating for the product Thanks in advance Luigi . . ================================================================= Instructions for joining and leaving this list, remarks about the problem of INAPPROPRIATE MESSAGES, and archives are available at: . http://jse.stat.ncsu.edu/ . =================================================================
