Some time within the last year, I read in a text (or possibly a paper, but I am fairly confident it was in a text) discussing random numbers what random number generator Excel uses, as well as some comments on its attributes (some bad, some less so).
Recently I wanted to mention the discussion in the book in some notes I was writing. I thought I knew where I had seen it, but rereading the text in question, it doesn't seem to mention Excel at all. Does anyone have a clue what book this might have been in?
