Dear colleagues,

To perform a meta-analysis of diagnostic test data I'm using the
program Meta-Test version 0.6 from Joseph Lau.

The program has a short instructions document were the author explain
that to calculate the 95% CI for SEN and ESP for individual studies
they used the Diamond's formula.

Seeking at the references,in that document, I found that one:

Diamond GA. Limited assurance. Am J Cardiol 1989; 63:99-100.
(Approximation of 95% for proportions).

I'll read the article and I'll tell you more if is of your interest.
Have you ever used META-TEST program? It's a MSDOS program to perform
meta-analysis of diagnostic test data.

Thanks,
