I made a mistake in my post.  For the grouping (3, 3, 3, 1) the value
is C(12,4)�4!/(3!1!)�C(4,3)�C(4,3)�C(4,3)�C(4,1).
C(12,4) is for choosing 4 columns out of 12, 4!/(3!1!) is for the
various orderings of these columns and C(4,3)�C(4,3)�C(4,3)�C(4,1) is
for the ordering within these columns.
If this is done for all cases, the total will be 6540715896, which is
the value for C(48,10).
