I�m suggested by David C. Howell to come to this address of a question related to my school project. The aim of my project is comparing the similarity between two XML schemata.
I arrived at the situation that will be described as the following:
Let two sets of elements: E1 = {S1, S2, S3, S4} and E2 = {T1, T2, T3}.
The below table describe the values of similarity of the pair of element from E1 and E2. For example, (S1, T3) = 0.6 is the similarity value of element S1 of E1 and T3 of E2.

I would like to know if there�s a way to compute the overall similarity of E1 and E2 based on the data we have in the above matrix.
